Power Wing Beast Offense

Hi Coach

Thanks for your email.

I have not heard of the exact Power Wing Beast Offense playbook being run at the HS level yet. But a Middle School coach is running the PWBO along with the Spread. He says it is tough for defenses to adjust from Spread to the PWBO. I have done the same at the 6th grade level. It works great. I’ve always wanted to try it at the HS Level with all the Spread centric defenses right now. It would shred them up. I saw a team playing my son’s HS team a few years back shift into a Power I and it shredded them.

Now the formations in the PWBO have been run at all levels, even college and the pros.

1) Beast — Yale Single Wing — Yale College and a few High Schools in CA about 5 years ago that I know about
2) Cake or Fat or ND Box — yes at HS level and some similar at pro level. KC ran something last year for short yardage which was close.
3) Pie or Power I Wing — yes at the HS just not exact on how I run it
4) Angl / Off-set I / I Wing — yes HS and all levels even pro NFL
5) Double Wing — Yes at HS and most levels or some form in a spread dbl wing
6) Trig / Inverted Wishbone / Diamond — Yes, and I copied from the Green Bay packers about 6 years ago.

Thanks again for your email.
